In Central Oregon, cannabis is available on nearly every block, but more choices isn’t necessarily a good thing. You want to know where the best deals are that also have their own sense of character and a brand you can taste in the various doobies and dabs they deal.
However, it’s easy to bop right into the nearest chain, but just because it’s a chain doesn’t equate to quality bud nor discounts.
And with a recession breathing down the back of our necks, it’s important to find dispensaries in Central Oregon that will give you the most bang for your buck.
The following is a list of unique flagship dispensaries in Central Oregon. Dr. Jolly’s — Bend
- Dr. Jolly’s – Bend
Dr. Jolly is real and he’s actually two people — brothers Jolly and ‘Doctor’ have differing backgrounds that complement each other: one a dedicated farmer and purveyor of cannabis products, the other a former engineer.
It made the perfect pairing for a long standing dispensary that was able to diversify their products with placements in other dispensaries across the area.
What sets Jolly’s apart is their expansive products they create themselves, with particular emphasis on extracts.

2. Fyre— Bend
The atmosphere in Fyre is so fancy, I feel underdressed to buy drugs.
Aesthetics in mind, fine buds are displayed on stands of varying height, allowing you to peruse the strains like city streets. But don’t let the fountain or the saltwater aquarium fool you—they’ve got deals.
If the $40 ounces aren’t enough, maybe the recurring parking-lot-side concerts with food trucks, vendors, glass blowing demos and live performances will keep you coming back.
Current Fyre Weekly Specials:

3. House of Hash — La Pine
La Pine, more like Ter Pine. (Sorry)
House of Hash is tucked along highway 97 serving as one of the last dispensaries until Klamath Falls. Their proximity to the other areas means a different selection from what is trafficked inside Bend’s fences.
They have in-house brands that are prepared on the spot: Cheeze Factory and Blue Collar Extracts. Mixing strains of leafy greens like Apples N Bananas, a cross between Blue Power and Gelatti for a tart, piney aftertaste.
House of Hash has daily specials, check out their Dutchie website for the most up-to-date deals.
Location: 51456 US-97 #3 La Pine
Hours: Daily 8 a.m.—8 p.m.
4. Mr. Nice Guy AKA “Mrs. Nice Girls” — Bend
Walking out of doorway beads in a cloud of smoke from stoner cinema history a la ‘Half Baked’ fame is nestled cozily behind Starz Cabaret on SE Davis Ave in Bend. Luckily, there is a preschool in between to balance it out.
Ironically, Mr. Nice Guy is staffed by almost entirely women, who curate weekly deals on top tier medicine. The sole Bend location has nicknamed itself on instagram as “Mrs. Nice Girls of Bend.”
MNG has a host of specials that change every week, their most famous being their $40 ounces.
Location: 224 SE Davis Ave. Bend
Hours: 9 a.m.—9 p.m.
5. Pioneer Cannabis — Madras
Every trip to Madras reveals just how much is changing with new storefronts going in all the time–Pioneer Cannabis is the perfect terpene pit stop that will have you puffing all the way to Portland.
What’s more is that Pioneer has some of the best prices north of the “Redmond weed prohibition zone,” with fan-favorite ounces starting at $4.
Location: 141 SW 5th St. Madras
Hours: Daily 8:15 a.m.—9:30 p.m.
