The idea of Desert Current was started in 2015. We wanted to create a publication that included all of Central Oregon and not just focuses on one area. We wanted to have articles that appealed to many different Central Oregonians, and we wanted to keep politics out. Desert Current feels that politics is better suited for news organizations. What we will focus on is Food, Drink, Music, Entertainment, Outdoors, and other areas that are of interest to Central Oregon.
Desert Current isn’t just a publication, a blog, or a social influencer. We are a community and our focus is on the community that makes up Central Oregon. We say that the Desert Current is Central Oregon’s, Community Paper. We have a dedicated team of people who are experts in their own fields and we hope that we can capture your interest.
