Our brunch adventure began with the “Captain Duane’s Buttermilk Country Fried Steak” 🥩. This dish, a collection of flavors, featured a perfectly breaded and fried steak, the country gravy had caramelized onions, roasted crimini mushrooms, and atop this beautiful gravy and breaded steak, were blue cheese crumbles paired with two perfectly cooked eggs over medium, and cheddar bacon grits, this dish was a hearty start to the day.

Next on our tasting journey was “The Local,” a customizable breakfast delight 🍳. We opted for the chicken apple sausage and sweet potato, accompanied by eggs over medium and a side of Mama’s white toast. The balance of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients spoke volumes about Chow’s commitment to quality and locally sourced produce.

A highlight of our meal was the selection of Chow’s house-made hot sauces, including the vibrant Roja, Verde, or Habanero-Carrot, Each sauce added a unique and flavorful kick, perfectly complementing our dishes. None were overly spicy and had tons of flavor.
The setting of Chow added to the charm of our experience. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a warm fire, created a tranquil backdrop for our morning feast. It felt less like a restaurant and more like your grandma’s house filled with whimsical charm.
